For Lions, we can look at the classic elements that can help a club grow.
On-line Brochure - your webpage. Your hardcopy brochure does a fine job, but telephone numbers change, contact persons change, meeting time and information change. Let’s face it, the ROUND FILE eventually eats it. By providing a webpage that is linked at LionNet & community oriented webpages, your club is always available. Adding your webpage address on a business card or brochure now expands and updates that handout to reflect everything that your club can offer to the community and potential members.
Information to Lions - Keeping your own members up to date with the webpage and newsletters at the webpage or by email will help to retain some of the members that quietly forget about their membership.
Getting information from Lions - The webpage also makes it very convenient for any Lion to provide feedback to your officers and committee members that have their email address shown at the webpage. Providing a list of email addresses on your club’s membership list or directory is becoming more important. CT NOW provides the Member List feature that ensures better privacy. We will discuss this in greater detail later.
Communicating by email - Using email to send meeting notices & Minutes will keep Lions more up to date. - Reducing costs & providing more information, faster, newer & taking less time.
