Notes:
The FTP program is really sounding scary. But it really is not.
Follow the instructions to install the LeechFTP free software that I recommended. Oh, this is real easy to do. You may need WinZip or other UnZip program that you can also get at Tucows.
When you start to use it, you quickly realize that it looks a great deal like Windows Explorer, but shows two computers instead of one. Your computer is the window on the left, and your internet provider is the computer on the right. Do not hesitate to use the HELP section of LeechFTP to guide you.
Your first page at your website may have to be called “home.htm” or “index.html” or “default.html” or something else. If you use your personal web space for other things, you may already be using the first page name. So you can leave the name of the webpage the same if you wish.
Once you have decided on the name of your pages, then upload them. With LeechFTP, pick the proper folders, Connect and login to your account and drag the HTML file and all graphic files to your web space.
After uploading, go to the webpage with your browser to look it over. It should appear as you tested it earlier.
